The LOVE MILITIA HQ was centered at 945 Brain Boulevard during BURNINGMAN 2000. Ground forces numbered twenty from across the US and Northern Europe. Enlisted members were required to participate in THE BURN and take only prisoners of love. 

Our mechanized ground force conducted daily sorties across the playa in search of other burn participants engaged in random acts of art and performance. Night missions took another form as the Love Militia troops infiltrated villages and camps in Black Rock City and conducted subversive activities inciting ravely riotous behavior. 

The Love Militia mission at THE BURN was deemed a successful campaign. Most remember nothing but left with a smile and an understanding of a unique experience on the playa that summer of 2000.
